Davis Cup 2023 Format There are 12 Qualifiers, 12 World Group I Play-offs and 12 World Group II Play-offs taking place from either 3-4 February or 4-5 February. In each case, the teams will play two singles matches on day one with the doubles and two more singles matches (if required) on day two. The 12 losing teams in the Qualifiers will go into World Group I with the 12 winners from the World Group I Play-offs. Similarly, the 12 losing teams in the World Group I Play-offs will go into World Group II with the 12 winners from the World Group II Play-offs. The 12 winners from the Qualifiers will advance to the 2023 Davis Cup Finals where 16 teams will contest the Group Stage in four cities in Spain with the Final 8 held in Malaga from 12-26 November.
